4. You Must Replace All 4 Tires at Once
If you get a flat tire or one wears out, tire shops will often pressure you to replace all four, claiming it’s “unsafe” otherwise.
This is often a sales tactic. As long as the tires on the same axle (front pair or back pair) match in brand, model, and tread depth, you are usually safe. You can replace just two tires and rotate them to the rear axle for stability.
